Is SQL 2005 TAPI enabled?
(I don't know what I'm talking about here so be kind....)
Jeff.I think you first need to say what you mean by TAPI. The only TAPI I know of
is an old API from MS
and Intel: Telephony Application programming Interface.
Is this what you mean? No, there's no built-in support for TAPI in SQL Serve
r, and I have a hard
time to see what this would do. Dial a number when somebody inserts data int
o a table? ;-)
SQL Server is pretty extensible, though. So you can use extended stored proc
edures (2000) or CLR
objects (2005).
